Moulay Guissé is a visual artist of French-Senegalese background,
born in 1978 In Gabon, who grew up in France and Luxembourg.
He studied illustration and cartooning at the Visual Art Institute of St.Luc
in Brussels. In 2004 he graduated in Graphic design at the
Ecole Nationale Supèrieure des Arts Visuels, La Cambre, in Brussels.
During several years of professional experience he worked for Brussels'
major graphic agencies as "Roadbook", Web and interactive marketing agency
"Emakina", graphic agency "Base Design" and "Qwentes" as an illustrator,
web and graphic designer.
Today while he continues to create for commissions such as
illustrations for book covers, graphic identity concepts for restaurants,
stores, dentist offices and theaters in Belgium, Germany and the US,
painting remains an important component of his work.
